Why make a wish?

Our human will can produce incredible power and is the basis for eliminating all suffering. Wanting to become a Buddha also relies on the power of vows, which means making a wish that I will become a Buddha. Only after a person has the willpower can he put it into action. When a person makes a vow, the power of your vow communicates with the heart of the Bodhisattva, and you can receive the great magnetic field of the Bodhisattva, so you will become more and more successful.
There is a saying that “karma is no match for the power of wishes.” When we encounter a major disaster in life, such as being diagnosed with cancer, we must rely on the power of wishes to get through the difficulties. Because when a person has done too many wrong things in his life or has too many karmic obstacles in his previous life, the merit of chanting sutras alone is not enough. At this time, the power of aspiration is very important, because the power of aspiration itself is merit and can eliminate many karma obstacles. But this karma will be eliminated temporarily. If your wish is fulfilled, your karma will be eliminated. If your wish is not fulfilled, this karma will still exist.

How to make a wish
To make a wish is to recite silently or softly in front of the Bodhisattva, asking the Bodhisattva to bless you or ask the Bodhisattva to appear and solve your confusions, worries, major disasters, and minor misfortunes. At the same time, you will:
From now on, eat vegetarian food on the first and fifteenth day of the lunar month;
Never eat live seafood from now on;
No more killing from now on;
Do a few good deeds every day;
Make golden bodies for Buddhas and Bodhisattvas;
Save as many people as you want in as much time and let them escape from the sea of suffering.
Do meritorious deeds, donate money to print books, etc.
The willingness to save people is very strong.
