Buddhas and Bodhisattvas teach that respecting teachers is very important Wenda20201018 01:20:52

Question: Master, I want to share something that you have read. I cried after reading it. The boy asked Guanyin Bodhisattva: “Some Buddhists release animals for Master, recite Buddhist scriptures, and chant scriptures for Master, praying that our Master will be healthy and live long in the human world, and save more sentient beings with predestined relationships in the human world. Can Guanyin Bodhisattva bless our Master to be healthy and live long in the human world?”

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva said: “My disciple, today I will answer your doubts. Buddhist disciples, you know that your master is worried and toiling for Buddhist disciples all over the world, and has many karmas. I see that Buddhist disciples recite scriptures and release animals for their master, and pray for the mercy of the Buddhas to let your master stay in the world for a long time and spread the Dharma more. You can know that releasing animals and reciting scriptures for your master is a way of respecting the teacher and respecting the Tao, and it can also move the hearts of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The pious Buddhist disciples who are your teachers are also the Buddha’s wish for their hearts to stay in the world for a long time. I hope that all Buddhist disciples will cherish the kindness of their master and listen to his words. Those who respect their teachers will be blessed by me.”

Bodhisattva Jigong said, “Pray for your teacher and recite scriptures, and pray for your teacher to stay in the world; respect your teacher and value the way, and all the heavens will be moved; heaven and earth respect the Dharma of the Heart, and everyone in the world will know it; recite scriptures for your teacher, and the Dharma protectors of heaven and earth will support you; release animals for your teacher, and Guanyin Bodhisattva will grant your wish!”

There is also a teaching from Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva to the Buddhist friends: “The time is tense now. Buddhist disciples should not waste time, and should not cling to the appearance of the human world. Follow your master to escape from the cycle of reincarnation. Every time I see disciples praying, praying for this and that, when can they escape from the cycle of reincarnation? I hope that disciples can improve their realm, follow your master to obtain my spiritual pure land, hear my Buddha’s Dharma sound, and obtain my Buddha’s wisdom. I am anxious about this. I see that Buddhist disciples seek emptiness every day and are burdened by the karma of the previous life. Mother calls on you many times, hoping that disciples can seize the time to cultivate their minds well and follow your master to escape from the cycle of reincarnation. I hope that all Buddhist disciples in the world can meet me in heaven. I have a few words for my disciples: Mothers are waiting for their children to return, hoping that they can escape from the cycle of reincarnation; do not ask for cause and effect, but have the heart to escape; do not cling to cause and effect, recite the sutras to eliminate karma; improve their physical cultivation, and be compassionate to all living beings.”

Master’s Dharmakaya came and said, “Our Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva gets anxious every time when she sees you children clinging to these illusions of the world and not practicing well. That’s why the Bodhisattva gives you instructions and asks you to practice well. If you don’t practice well, you will end up in the six realms of reincarnation. Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva would be so heartbroken to see that. Some of you came from heaven with a deep affinity with Buddha, but got lost after coming to the human world. If you don’t cherish it, Master would have nothing to say. Practice well, children, and cherish everything that the Bodhisattva has given us. Now that you can recite the sutras well at home and are not sick, this is your blessing. Don’t fight or rob anymore, and learn to go with the flow in everything. Okay, cherish it, and practice well, children.” Master, that’s all for sharing.

A: Yes, you see, when you were chanting now, I just saw the Bodhisattva coming. Guanyin Bodhisattva said such an important sentence, but you didn’t understand it. What do you want to find in the cause and condition and the cause and effect? Can you find it? In other words, these are the cause and condition and the cause and effect of the previous life. You want to dig it out in the cause and effect, but how can you dig it out of this reincarnation? You can’t dig it out. The only way is to get rid of the cause and effect and get rid of the reincarnation. You don’t understand it, and the Bodhisattva is very worried (Master, the Buddhist disciples are very concerned about your health). Today is a little better than yesterday. Sometimes the body is weak, and there are recurrences. The human body is very weak. Now take good care of it. To be honest, it’s just that after so many years, I have been overworked and sick. I’m too tired.

(Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva said, “As the teacher’s instruction today, I hope all Buddha’s disciples will cherish the teacher’s kindness and listen to the teacher’s words. Those who respect the teacher will be blessed by the teacher.” We must respect the teacher. Yes, respecting the teacher is very important. Once a teacher, a master for life. If you don’t take good care of your own father, you don’t even take good care of your own master, how can you listen to him? Let me give you a simple example. At the very least, when you are studying in elementary school, you have to listen to the teacher, right? (Yes, yes) If you don’t respect your teacher, what culture can you learn well? (Master, filial piety is the first of all virtues. Does this filial piety include respecting the teacher?) Yes, of course. Look at how many masters in the past were extremely filial to their masters throughout their lives. It’s the same.
